On Monday December 2nd, the Nanaimo RCMP Victim Services were presented a cheque in the amount of $1416.53 from the Nanaimo and District Crime Stoppers. This was for half of all proceeds from the Crime Stoppers shredding event hosted by Save On Foods, Brooks Landing, and Halloween candy give away, hosted by several local Malls in north Nanaimo, namely Woodgrove Centre, North Town Centre Mall and Country Club Centre.
Presenting the cheque to Victim Services is Constable Gary O’Brien Crime Stoppers Co-ordinator. To his left is Nina Charenomitra, Assistant Program Manager and beside her Jocelyn Lord, Caseworker.
