Purses stolen from seniors

19-06-2012
On Friday June 15th at approximately 12:25PM two purses were stolen by a male while the vehicle was parked at the gas pumps of the Mary Ellen Drive Coop gas bar.
On Friday June 15th at 12:30 PM an employee of the Mary Ellen Drive Coop called the police to report that one of their elderly customers had just reported that her and her friends purses had been stolen from their vehicle.

The victim told the clerk she parked her Ford Freestar van at the gas pumps then walked inside to pay for her gas.The video surveillance shows an unidentified male walking towards her car just as she goes inside the gas bar. This male is then seen opening up her door and removing her  purse.

Two minutes later, a blue sedan drives by the victims car and the suspect male jumps out of the passenger side, walks to the car and takes a second purse from the same vehicle.

The video is of poor quality and very little description was provided of the  suspect or the suspect vehicle. The suspect male may have been waiting in the blue sedan nearby just before the theft watching vehicles enter the gas bar.
