Suspicious fires being investigated

Two youths arrested for setting fire to a tree at Latimer Park and police are looking for information on similar type fires. Two youths were arrested late Sunday night in relation to a tree fire at Latimer Park, located at 1800 Latimer Rd.The park is accessible from Latimer Rd and from the south side of Lancashire Drive.
A cell phone seized from one of the youths captured the tree being set on fire by pilling newspapers next to it.Another image was of a fire that is believed to have occurred on an undeveloped lot behind Cyber City on Bowen Rd.The time of the fire is unknown.
Police are looking for any information on these two fires and on any of the other structure fires that have been set in recent months. One of those fires occurred at 703 Townsite Rd where two teenage boys were seen smoking cigarettes a day or two before the fire. In that incident the two teenagers were seen behind the vacant home and one of them was seen wearing a Montreal Canadians hockey jersey.
