Crimes of the past two weeks

The Nanaimo RCMP need your assistane in solving the following crimes that have occured in and around Nanaimo in the past two weeks
:

Break into a residence-Over night on December 16, an apartment, in the Ocean Bay apartments at 901 Haliburton Street, was broken into. Access to the apartment was gained through a window and suspects stole a 32" Phillips LCD TV, two cell phones (Nokia and Motorola), a Canon digital camera.Other items taken included a Dell all in one copier, scanner, and printer, as well as a number of other items. Theft of Diesel Fuel - Between December 5-15 culprits broke into a white Sterling dump truck located at Slegg Lumber on Jordan Avenue. The truck’s ignition was damaged and one gas tank was emptied of approximately 250L of diesel fuel. Another excavator on the property also had diesel stolen from its tank. File 2009-37304

Theft of Cable Van - Sometime during the evening of Wednesday Decmeber 16th a van belonging to Structured Cable Systems was stolen from Leslie St . The van is described as a white 1989 GMC panel van with blue lettering on the side saying "Structured Cable Systems" and has three ladders attached to the outside of the vehicle. The vehicle contained tools, and household wiring. File 2009-37295

Break in of Business - On December 16th  the Sharpening Shop located at 154 Cliff St was broken into. The suspect accessed the interior of the business and  once inside, stole ten high end saw blades for 10" and 14" table saws. The blades were worth over $200 each and were contained in white plastic cases. File 2009- 37196

Vehicle theft- Stolen overnight on Tuesday December 15th from the Superstore parking a 1990 brown Honda Civic hatchback with BC plate VAB 322. Vehicle had a full tank of gas.  File 2009-37199

Theft of Mountain bike- On the evening of Wednesday December 16th from 670 Drake St a grey Norco Mountaineer mountain bike. The suspect cut through two locks to take the bike. File 2009-37195

Theft from vehicles- On Tuesday November 17th six vehicles parked at the "Park and Go" located at Northfield Rd and the Island Highway had their windows broken, dashboards ripped apart and stereos taken. In one of the vehicles, the suspect was cut and bled in the vehicle. File 2009-34505

Break into residence- Sometime on Tuesday December 15th suspects entered a residence located at 324 Juniper St .gaining access by crawling through the rear bathroom window.Itmes taken included two digital cameras(Canon Rebel and Powershot) an Apple 20" laptop and several memory cards. File 2009-37179

Break into residence- Sometime during the day on Sunday December 13th a residence located at 58 Mill St was broken into. The suspects entered by way of a side office window. The office was ransacked and a silver 16" Hewlett Packard laptop ,an IBM notebook computer and a Panasonic camera with a Lieca lense was taken . File 2009-36987
