Unsolved crimes April 22nd to April 30th

1.       Nanaimo file # 2016-12622 Sometime between 6 am and 2 pm on Friday April 22nd  a gas pump,  20 ft. jumper cables, gas nozzle and filter were stolen from a work  truck at 320 Nanaimo Lakes Rd. The truck was in the parking lot near the gravel pit when the theft occurred. 

  2.      Nanaimo file # 2016-12914 Sometime between 1 pm and 1:30 pm on Monday April 25th a break and enter occurred to a home on Fairhaven Place. The home was entered through an unlocked door and taken were two laptop computers and a phone in a pink case. The computer and phone are the property of School District 68. 

3.      Nanaimo file # 2016-13287 Sometime overnight on Thursday April 28th a bicycle was stolen from the Pacifica Condos located at 38 Front St. The bike is a NS Majestic dirt jumper with a yellow front wheel and faded red frame. 

4.       Nanaimo file # 2016-13414 On Friday April 29th at approximately 4:50 pm a male was observed committing an indecent act while in his vehicle, in the vicinity of 1800 Bowen Rd. The witness was walking along the sidewalk when a 4 door white vehicle came to a stop at a stop sign. When the vehicle did not proceed, the witness looked towards the vehicle and observed the male driver masturbating. A partial plate of "CMW" was obtained on the vehicle. The driver was described as white, heavy set with dark brown hair and a brown beard. He also had on sunglasses with a clip shade. 

 

5.       Nanaimo file # 2016-13514 On Saturday April 30th a male took five watches from the Newfoundland to Nanaimo store, located on the downtown seawall. The male suspect is white, approximately 6 ft. 170 pounds with short dark hair. He was wearing a green camouflage winter jacket, blue jeans and black boots. The watches are large faced "Ecosse" with camouflage bands.  

 

  6.   Nanaimo file # 2016-12751 Over the last month, a double kayak was stolen from Alberni Outpost on Stewart Ave. The kayak is fibreglass; red on the top and white on the bottom and the Rutter fin is missing. Kayak valued at $3500. 

 

7.      Nanaimo file # 2016-13497  On Saturday April 30th a bicycle was stolen from 38 Front St. The bike is a black and white Rocky Mountain Vapour with a black frame and serial # RP0933040.
