Unsolved crimes

The following crimes remain unsolved and need the public's assistance to solve

Nanaimo File # 2015-3825 Within the last two weeks a female attended to the Nanaimo RCMP Detachment to report being defrauded for 1000 dollars by a man she met on “Plenty of Fish", a popular dating site. Through conversation "Pete", last name unknown, convinced her to give him her debit card and PIN #. The male suspect is white, mid-thirties, with short brown hair. The victim wanted others to know of this person and to learn from her mistakes.

 

Nanaimo File # 2015-4955 Stolen sometime in the past month from a shed on Bush St, K2 Public enemy  59cm skis with bindings and a cream K2 152cm snowboard with blue flowers. Also taken was a Nike golf club and driver.

 

Nanaimo File # 2015-4403 Stolen sometime during the day on Monday February 16th from the parking lot of the Nanaimo Ice Centre, a 1989 blue VW Westfalia van. The van has a big pink stinker on the back window. 

 

Nanaimo File # 2015-4619 On Wednesday February 18th home owners on Regal St were awakened to find a man in their home attempting to steal items. The male was chased out of the home for several blocks but was eventually lost in the area of Georgia Elementary school. The only items taken were a lime green packsack and an Asus tablet). The suspect is white, in his mid-20's with short brown hair.

 

 

Nanaimo File # 2015-4444 On Tuesday February 17th a house under construction on Armins Rd (off Doumount Rd) was broken into. Entry was gained by throwing a rock through a window. Taken was a Graco 395 paint sprayer.

 

 

Nanaimo file # 2015-4609 On Wednesday February 18th at 9:23 pm Hills Native Art on Bastion Street was broken into.  When police arrived then found a glass pane cut out from the front door allowing for entry inside. Two display cabinets were smashed and several display cases of jewelry taken.

 

Nanaimo File # 4518 On Wednesday February 18th the Crow and Gate Pub on Yellowpoint Rd was broken into. A bathroom window was smashed allowing for entry. Staff lockers were rummaged through and Police Dog Services attended and tracked a short distance away, Video surveillance showed two males enter the Pub and one other male waiting outside.

 

Nanaimo File # 2015-5075 Sometime between Sunday Feb 22 and Monday Feb 23 a white 4dr Plymouth Acclaim was stolen from the parking lot of 1680 Dufferin Crescent. 

 

 

Nanaimo File # 2015-4958 Sometime overnight on Sunday Feb 22 two tail gates were stolen from vehicles at Galaxy motors located at 4777 Island Highway. The tailgates are from a GMC 2500 and a Toyota Tacoma. 

 

 

Nanaimo File # 2015-4908 Sometime between 3:30 pm and 7:45 pm a home in the 300 block of Westwood Rd was broken into. Point of entry was the laundry room window. Taken was a black PS4, 2 black controllers, a black Acer Netbook and charger

 

 

Nanaimo File # 2015-5003 On Monday February 22nd between 6 pm - 9 pm a home on Honey Drive was broken into. Taken was a silver Macbook with charger, a black 32 GB Ipad Mini and full bottle of whiskey.
