Nanaimo file # 2014-18653 On Tuesday July 15th a green and blue Anuak fibreglass kayak was stolen from 1100 Stewart Ave. The kayak has a noticeable 6" crack on the top left side.
Nanaimo file # 2014-18672 On Tuesday July 15th at approximately 5 PM a dark blue duffel bag was stolen from the dock near the Protection Island ferry berth, in the Nanaimo harbor.The owner had put it down for just a minute and when she came back, it was gone.The bag has "Princess" written on the side and it contained clothing and college application forms.
Nanaimo file # 2014-18973 Sometime between 5 PM on Wednesday July 16th and 11:30AM on Thursday July 17th, jewellery was stolen from a vehicle parked on Rockwood Place(north end of Jingle Pot Rd). The jewellery was taken from a blue Mitsubishi Outlander.  The following items were stolen: size 7 ladies gold band, ladies size 7 ring with a square design and white gold, two wedding bands each with diamonds, and a white gold necklace with a square blue pendant surrounded by diamonds.
Nanaimo file #2014-19724 On Thursday July 24th a rock was thrown through a window at St.Philip by the Sea Anglican church, located at 7113 Lantzville Rd.
Nanaimo file # 2014-19965 On Saturday July 26th three mountain bikes were stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Placid Crescent. The bikes were in the back of a truck and were locked with a cable.  The stolen bikes are: 1. burgundy Haro VL 160 Xeon  2. orange Rocky Flayer SS 3. black Giant Talon with red accents.
Nanaimo file # 2014-20138 On Sunday July 27th tools were stolen from a home under construction at 525 and 527 Five Fingers Place. The house was entered through unlocked windows. Taken was a Dewalt table saw, Dewalt compound mitre saw, 2 orange Husqvarna concrete saws and a Rigid wet tile saw. This is a tough reminder for contractors and carpenters to not leave any tools at job sites unless the home is properly secured.
Nanaimo file # 2014-20214 On Monday July 28th a break enter occurred at the Queens Hotel, located at 34 Victoria Crescent. Entry was made from an adjacent building and taken was a Sony Vio 17" laptop.
Nanaimo file # 2014-20383 On Tuesday July 29th a construction trailer located at 679 Terminal Ave was broken into. Taken was a 6' aluminum ladder, aluminum adjustable hammer,green Hatachi nail gun, 2 yellow Bostich nail guns and a Rigid nail gun. Noises were heard at the site around 2 AM and two males were seen. The only description of the two was that they were wearing jackets with flourescent stripes.
Nanaimo file # 2014-20443 On Wednesday July 30th two weed eaters were stolen from 1150 Terminal Ave. One of the weed eaters was an orange Husqvarna 128 litre gas driven with no guard.
